Organise a Summer School
Inspire the next generation
IDEA League’s Summer Schools are a combination of lectures, interactive workshops and group projects. Students develop new insights into current research, connect and exchange ideas and benefit from the collective expertise of our partner universities.
Organise a Doctoral School
Share your knowledge and expertise
IDEA League’s Doctoral Schools are unique programmes jointly designed and conducted by our partner universities. Multiple complementary modules are given (each at a different partner university) during the same academic year, attended by a combined inter-university group of second- or third-year PhD candidates.
The Doctoral School programmes combine the search for solutions to global challenges with innovative doctoral training. They offer a unique opportunity for outstanding PhD students to enrich their research and build networks with other researchers at partner universities.

Do you know of a problem that needs solving or have an idea for a project to implement but can’t do it alone? Whether it’s related to academic life, research, administrative issues or a new initiative, IDEA League is open to your suggestions. We facilitate numerous working groups to explore ideas aimed at closer collaboration between our universities in order to serve our communities better.
These groups dive into things like how to share our large-scale research infrastructures with greater efficiency and less red tape as well as considering how we can lower barriers for students taking courses at our member universities with seamless credit mobility. They are also exploring how we can share our knowledge and engage the wider European society by providing insights into how technology is driving the future.
